- Interview recordings: audio recordings of memoir interview sessions, conducted in person with your consent.

- Payment information: billing details processed through Square or other agreed payment methods. We do not store credit card numbers on our systems.
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics tools on this website. We do not collect information automatically from website visitors.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide our memoir writing services as described in your service agreement.
- Communicate with you about your project, scheduling, and deliverables.
- Process payments for our services.
- Respond to your inquiries and requests.

How We Protect Your Information
Your stories and personal information are treated as confidential, as detailed in our service agreement. Specifically:
- Interview recordings are transcribed locally on our own equipment — not sent to third-party transcription services.
- Files are stored on our private, local system — not on shared cloud drives.
- Draft manuscripts, transcripts, and recordings are not shared with anyone outside our immediate project team without your written consent.
- Upon completion of your project, you receive all files on a USB drive. We securely delete our copies within 90 days of final delivery, unless you request otherwise.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services in connection with our business:
- Cloudflare: hosts this website and routes our email. Cloudflare may collect standard web server logs (IP addresses, request times). See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google Voice: our business phone number. Calls are subject to Google's privacy policy.
- Calendly: online scheduling for introductory calls. See Calendly's privacy policy.
- Square: payment processing. See Square's privacy policy.
- LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI): used to assist with drafting memoir chapters from your interview transcripts. Transcript excerpts are sent to these APIs for processing. Both services have data use policies that prohibit using API inputs for model training. See Anthropic's privacy policy and OpenAI's privacy policy.
Your Rights
Nevada residents: Under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A, you have the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell your personal information.
California residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your information, and opt out of the sale of your information. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us using the information below.
All clients: You may request a copy of all personal information we hold about you, request corrections, or request deletion at any time by contacting us.
Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
